HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Msi.Package\vanquish

Howdy - I'yard having the verbal same issue every bit Anil, higher up.
I take tried the Regedit option, restarted my machine, correct-clicked to Install as Admin and I yet get the error message "This installation package could non be opened. Verify that the parcel exists..." etc.
Please help!
I'thousand desperately needing to install a plan for my Masters studies for an assignment due shortly.

Ok So It did help so now I can open the .msi file install tab but when I install it says
An Error Was Encountered
Unspecified Mistake
Just And so You lot Know I am trying to install the file dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.msi

I performed all tasks in a higher place, with the exception of downloading the Tweaking.com addition. Just not a fan of outside programs "fixing" things for me. I saw on their website that the following commands are ran:
sc config msiserver start= demand
Cyberspace cease msiserver
MSIExec /unregister
MSIExec /regserver
regsvr32.exe /s %windir%system32msi.dll
Net start msiserver
I accept attempted to run these commands myself, just later the first line "sc config msiserver commencement= need" I receive the error "[SC] ChangeServiceConfig FAILED 5: Access is denied."
The prompt is being ran every bit an Ambassador, and I have given the admin account sufficient permissions. What can I do to fix this?

This did non work. Later on restarting the Run As Administrator pick pops up when I right click, only executing the msi, I still receive the "Bereft Permissions" dialog box and the install does not consummate.
